Tane’s Mental Mindstream

So this morning I heard from what I would call a reliable source that
late into last night the decision was made to officially cancel the
Edinburgh tram project.

Controversial from the start; the project has gone way over budget and
time with TIE, Edinburgh Council and BBS in seemingly perpetual contract
disputes the project was either going to be cancelled or cost millions
more. It seems we know now.

From what I've heard an announcement will be made later today, just in
time for the later edition of the Edinburgh Evening News.

(Of course if my source is wrong I'll have egg on my face with this,
but I truly believe they aren't the type of person who would do that to me!  I Hope!)

With the Edinburgh Festival nearly upon us too - expect Edinburgh to be
the butt of the joke for many comedians who will have a field day with
this.

I expect the people of Edinburgh to be calling for blood very soon!
